In 1983 I did a film with Gary Busey entitled The Bear
about the life of Alabama football coach, Paul “Bear” Bryant.
As my first Department Head position, it was full of challenges.
Although the film has all but vanished here’s a little bit of history.
This film is an example of how that first break can prepare you for just about anything in your career. Between pleasing the Producer and keeping up with Gary it was a wild ride.
